INDUSTRIAL INKJET R&D
Summit helps manufacturers troubleshoot unreliable jetting, incomplete UV cure, adhesion failures, and unstable dispersions. Projects can include diagnostic testing, lab results, formulation or process recommendations, and support for production trials.
From Troubleshooting to Production Support
Engagements can start with a focused investigation of an inkjet problem affecting print quality, uptime, or a product launch. Depending on the project, Summit can provide a test plan, lab data, root-cause findings, and prioritized formulation or process recommendations. For longer programs, support can continue through validation, production trials, and scale-up as an independent technical partner.
INK & DISPERSION FORMULATION
Summit develops and troubleshoots industrial inks and pigment dispersions, including problems with viscosity, stability, color, filtration, cure, and adhesion.
Project Result: 18-month Ink Shelf Life
An inkjet ink manufacturer needed to resolve formulation instability before commercial distribution. Summit identified the cause and adjusted the formulation, enabling the manufacturer to ship globally with an 18-month shelf life.
